Class of 1991
Ackerman (Lieberman), Rebecca
Mar 29, 2008
Hi Everybody,
I just stumbled upon this website and was pleased to see so many postings. I am currently living in New Jersey, 5 miles from New York City. I came here about 14 years ago when I transferred from the University of Washington. I went to graduate school at Columbia and have been working as an educator ever since. I love working with adolescents; most recently I was an Assistant Principal for Student Affairs. This year I have been a full-time grad student again working toward an advanced master's degree in educational leadership.
I haven't kept up with my acting, but I have done some stand-up around town. My work and family life provide plenty of material. I am married and have a 2 year old son and a dog -- my first baby, and surprisingly good practice for the human one!
I would love to hear from you. If you are ever in the NY Metro Area shoot me an e-mail; I'd love to catch up! Oh, and if you happen to see a bald woman walking around Morgan Hill, it's probably me out visiting my parents. I lost all my hair about 8 years ago and wigs and hats are just a nuisance!
That's all, folks!
Agresta, Marc

Hello everyone! I hope that you are all doing well. I officially came out in my early 20's and my world has been like a silly episode to Will & Grace ever since! I have been busy working in the staffing industry for the past 6 years. I typically go on site to major corporations to implement/manage their contract workforces. I was relocated to Miami, FL for a short time and returned to the bay area in 2003. What an adventure...but I'm glad to be back. I live in downtown San Jose, and have been blessed with a wonderfully supportive family (who still lives in Morgan Hill) and some amazing friends. Life has been a voyage of opportunities, changes, advancement and enriching experiences. I hope that your 30's are treating you just as well. Isn't this a great time?!

Hi everyone. I still live in San Jose and have most of the same friends I had in high school! Amy & Lisa Klaenhammer are still my best friends (their last names have changed). I went back to school after my divorce to get my accounting degree. I have a very fun and exciting life or at least I think so. Most of the time I'm out and about taking advantage of all the bay area has to offer. Please feel free to contact me. I love "doing lunch" or "dinners" with old friends to catch up.

Well it's been a couple of years since my last update. I have most recently been working as a paramedic awaiting entry into nursing school. I start nursing school this January, and I am very excited. I moved last year to Modesto where I have 5 acres a little ways out of town and I love it. I only moved about 20 miles from my last residence but now I have plenty of room for all my animals, it's great. I hope everyone is healthy and happy and I'd love to hear from some old friends. God Bless!

I'm so glad to read that all of you are doing well. Highschool seems like such a lifetime away. But, reading your bio's brings me back and reminds me of such great times.
As for me, I've been happily married for almost 8 years. Rich and I have two beautiful children. Rachel is 5 and Mathew is 2. I earned my degree in Child Development in 1998 and find that I use it everyday as a stay at home mom. The pay isn't great, but the rewards are priceless. I would love to hear from you, so please drop me an e-mail.
I am so sorry to hear about Vale's passing. I knew him from Jr. High. He had a great laugh, warm heart, and a beautiful smile. My thoughs and prayers are with his wife and son.

Update: Baby Megan was born January 16th. Final count boys 2, girls 2. Four kids, wow!! What a huge blessing.
Wow, time sure flies doesn't it. It seems like just yesterday we were going to the quad for rallies and trying to sneak off campus for food runs at lunch time. We are keeping busy here in San Jose. Michael is 14, Kevin is 11 and they both attend Valley Christian School. Valerie is almost 2 and I am due with #4, another girl, in January '09. This is definitely my last. I stay busy going to the gym, keeping our MOPS group going, and chauffeuring the kids around. My husband and I have been married over two years and he is my prince charming. Feel free to email me if you want to get together for coffee some time. God Bless.

Well all I can remember since I was a very little girl was that I wanted to be married and have a big family. My wish came true. I married a man that works construction, he allows me to stay at home and enjoy our four beautiful children. My oldest Ty is 7, Tierney she's 3 going on 18, Bella my love love is 2 and my youngest Aubrie is 9 months. And yes I am done!! I wouldn't have it any other way. Being a mom is my full time job, without the pay and vacation time. But I wouldn't give it up for anything. I also enjoy going to the gym in the evenings, this I think is what keeps me sane. My husband gets to see what I go through during the day and is happy to see me when I come back through that door. Anyway enough about that. Not much else to say. I live in San Jose and I'd enjoy getting e-mails from old classmates. So go ahead. Or if your around and want to set a play date for the kids, that would be cool too!! Bye for now!! =)

Hey Everyone,
Well a little bit has changed since the last time I left a message on here. My husband purchased us our first home Nov. 2007. It is in Merced. The kids and I are adjusting to the little town. Ty is now 11, Tierney 7, Bella 6 and Aubrie is 4. My husband works in San Jose still so he goes down Monday and comes back Friday. It's okay with me I'm always so busy with kids the weeks go by fast. And yes, I'm still enjoying being a stay at home mom!! He is hoping to get a job here someday. Otherwise we are doing good. Oh we also have 4 dogs now too. I never thought I'd be a dog and kid person.:) I'd love to hear from you. God Bless.

Hello all. I wanted to give you a quick update. For the past 2 1/2 years, I have been living in Portland, working for the Portland Beavers Baseball Club (Triple-A club of the San Diego Padres) and the Portland Timbers Soccer Club (United Soccer League). Prior to that, I was living in Sacramento, working for the Kings. In July, 2004, my wife gave birth to our first child, Nolan and this past December, we had a little girl, Mila. We have loved living in Portland. If you find yourself here, please contact me. It would be great to catch up with some old friends. All the best.

It's been years since I updated this site.
The Sanchez Family is doing great.
Amanda will be starting High School in the fall, Nolan is 9 and Bobby just turned 6. Much taxi driving duties for Charlie and I these days.
I returned to work in January, working for a great company in Morgan Hill. Charlie continues to manage in the real estate world (nightmare) and keeps himself busy with the kids and their schedules.
The children are growing, healthy and happy - much like our relationship, which we celebrated in November, our 10th Year Anniversary!
Wishing everyone the best --

The last time I updated this profile, I was living in Orlando, Florida working for the Walt Disney Co. That was four years ago, and lets just say Im no longer working for the mouse.
Back in May of 1999 I made a major life changing decision, that being to move to Atlanta where I went to work for The Ritz-Carlton. Along the way I also helped open a night club and learned to DJ. After 2 years with The Ritz, I decided to leave the Hotel Industry all together, and went to work for Accenture (Anderson Consulting). Well that wonderfull career change didnt last very long. My position was eliminated and I found my self unemployeed, having been laid off.
For the next six months I took a break having been working like crazy since graduation from College. I continued on at the night club, bartending and working in the DJ booth. This however didnt pay the bills, and when the money was gone... well thats another story.
Today, I've made Austin, Texas home. Ive been in Texas a little over 18 months, and love the Loan Star State. Im working for Dell Finanacial Services as a Telecom Analyst, running a call center. Oh and yes thats as in Dell Computer Co.
One of the biggest lessons I've learned through all of this is to just be myself. This is one lesson I finally came to terms with about 6 years ago when I came out. Which ties back to the reason I moved to Atlanta, matters of the heart. Needless to say he and I are nolonger together, Im just enjoying the singles life right now. And most important of all Im happy.... with myself, and my life. I hope you all are as well.

Hello, Hello, everyone. I proposed to my fiancé in Paris on New Year's Eve. Getting married in '04. Life is good.

Well, I didn't actually graduate with you all, since I took the silly state test in '90, but I'd like to keep in touch just the same!
Lynda Kaminsky and I married on 1/17/99 at David's Restaurant in Santa Clara, CA. We bought a house in August of '99, spent 2 years (2006/7) building a 2nd story on it (ourselves!), and now have room to grow.
We have three kids, my son Jayden, who's almost 7 (!); my daughters, Eliana, 4, and Janea, 1.5.
Professionally speaking, I'm a Princ. Sw Engineer @ Symantec, focusing on network-based vulnerability research.

I haven't been here in a long time. Well after graduation I joined the Air Force and got shipped to South Dakota. (Cold Place in the winter.) I worked on the B1-B heavy bomber as a crew chief. After 6 cold years in South Dakota I got orders to move to Mt Home AFB Idaho. I spent another 4 years active duty. I then transfered to the Air National Guard. I did another 4 years in the guard and got into remodeling homes. Now I work as a maintenance person at an apartment complex. I am married with 4 kids and I live in Boise Idaho. Well hope everyone is doing well.
Later,
Colin
Hi. I finally made a honest women out of Darlene Guerra(class of 93) last year in Hawaii. Pretty fun wedding. Simpson and Elizondo announced their engagments there as well. I think the girls are almost legal. Darlene is a part time professor at SJSU. As for me, I work at Redwood Empire in MH doing my part for the environment. We live in MH, have no kids. We spend our free time trying to get Jason Corsello and Scott Murray a girlfriend. Pretty daunting task, maybe we should start looking at the alternative for them. I am also thinking about going into the seasoned meat business with Simpson.
I served in operation Desert Storm after graduation. I am currently on medical disability. If you know anyone hiring, let me know.

I have been married to my husband, Chris, for 11 years, and I have a 4-year old son that we adopted almost 3 years ago.. I live in Star, Idaho, which is about 10 miles west of Boise. We've been in this area for about 10 years and love it. I teach kindergarten and love those 5-year-olds! That's about it. Life is good! Drop me a line!

My goodness, time sure does fly by! For those of you who still have ties to Morgan Hill you probably heard that my brother T.J. was killed in a car accident 3 years ago. That was and still is the most difficult part of my life. Luckily, I met a wonderful man just a few months before T.J.'s accident who was strong enough for both of us. We got married in August, 1999 and now live in San Martin. We have been remodeling our house for the past 8 months and Tim has a "HONEY-DO" list that he swears I add to whenever he isn't looking. When we aren't working on the house we spend the rest of our time playing with our dogs, trying to grow a garden and spending time with our cherished friends and family. LIFE IS GOOD.

Not sure if anybody will remember me. I only went to Live Oak for my senior year. I stumbled on this site and felt nostalgic as I remembered the carefree days of high school. I recognized a few names from honor classes we had together. I moved back to So Cal after graduation. I have lived in Orange County for the past ten years.I met my husband over 11 years ago and we have been married for over 6 years. After trying for many years we were finally blessed with our beautiful son who is now 2 years old. I work for a National REIT as a Regional Director overseeing properties in Orange and L.A. county. Would love to hear from anyone who remembers me.

I've been following this over the years and figured I'd finally post. I'm glad to see you're all doing so well and having fun. I can't believe how many of us still live in/near The Hill.
I am happily married to an amazing lady who somehow manages to put up with my sh#t. We have a beautiful little girl named Zoe and are workin' on number two. Good times... practice makes perfect!
I passed on my dream of being a doctor for a life in technology and have been working as a Director of Engineering at a company in San Mateo.
I vowed I would never return to Morgan Hill, living from San Francisco to here and many places in between. I couldn't stand the congestion of the suburbs from San Jose north to San Francisco... would have loved to stay in the city, but couldn't afford a house there. Alas, Morgan Hill is where we drove our stake into the ground.
I still hang with Scott Holmes, Jeff Solanas, Mark Garfield (1989), and see Lisa Sacco from time-to-time. Be well!
Cheers,
-Jason
