Hello everybody! I tremendously enjoyed staying at Live Oak as a foreign exchange student in 1987/88. After returning to Germany and finishing high school there, I went to university in Passau and Freiburg (Germany) and graduated from law school in 1996. I moved to Berlin in 1998 where I work at Humboldt-University as an assistant lecturer. I hope to be able to finish my Ph.D. thesis soon, since I will be joining the German foreign service this summer. I'm looking forward to exciting postings abroad!

Hello everyone! It's amazing to read about everyone and where life has taken them.
I am living in Downtown San Jose and I have been working as a Supervisor for Pacific Gas and Electric Company for the past 10 years. (I know your bills are high...sorry!!) Try keeping your thermostat at 78 or higher this summer, (if you use AC) and 68 or lower when you use your heater... 55 degrees or off at night and when your not at home. OK, now I feel better. :)
I have a beautiful 9 month old daughter, Bella. (She is actually a Maltese puppy, but she thinks she is human). I am still single, although I have been with the same guy for twelve years...
Life is good! My only complaint is that I haven't been to a Sharks game in a LONG LONG time!!

Hey Everyone! Well, after graduating from SJSU in 1993, I married Eric, my high school sweetheart, in 1994 and moved to Colorado in 1995. We've had a wonderful life out here so far. I love living in a state that has seasons. We bought a house in Parker, CO where we intend to stay for 15 years. Now, I do tech support for a small software company which has nothing to do with my degree in Poli Sci. No children yet, only one dog who is enough of a handful. Looking forward to the reunion, I'm curious to see everyone again.

Wow, 11 years...boy do I feel old! Well, here's my life so far in a nutshell: after graduating from Santa Clara University with a BS in Math, minor in Econ, I worked for a year as a Project Manager at Pacific Bell. From there I moved to D.C. and worked for two years at the Federal Reserve Board (I highly recommend D.C. It's the greatest place to live). It was during this time that I met my soulmate, and now husband, Dan (who was still living in CA!) After a one year long-distance courtship I moved back to CA and we were eventually married in 1997. For the past 3+ years I have worked at Risk Management Solutions in Menlo Park, CA and am currently the Director of their Consulting group. Dan and I bought a home in Santa Clara last year, so we are now regulars at Home Depot! We spend our free time doing home improvements and caring for our mischievous cats, Jack and Buddy. No kids yet; the cats would get jealous.

I now work for the Dept. of Health Care Services in Sacramento, Gregg works for Rexel in Rancho Cordova, and Weston is in the drum line at Rolling Hills Middle School. I can't believe I have a child who will be starting HIGH SCHOOL in the fall, and a drummer at that. I hope all of you are well. God bless. Carey

I've been peeking in on this website a few times over the years & finally decided that it wasn't fair to read about everyone else and not participate!

Let's see...in 1995 I married my husband, Dan (who I met just 3 days into our first year at U.C. Davis). In 2001 we had a boy, Christopher (he's really cute and smart):-). We live in Folsom, which is near Sacramento. I am the Director of Training & Marketing for a Sacramento-based restaurant company. I have been with them since 1991. The best part of my job is that it allows me to work at least half of my time from my home office. We are enjoying life and feel truly blessed to be able to do so. Best wishes to all of you! Oh, and please drop in to Steve's Place Pizza, Pasta & Grill if you're ever in this area!

What a great site! It is nice to see that everyone is doing so well. I'm sure that as time goes on and more people are aware of this site, it will fill up fast! Things are good for my family and I. I have a beautiful daughter named Danielle (she is 9) and Lynette (also a Live Oak Grad, vintage 1985) my wife of 10 1/2 years now! About 10 years ago we bought a great home in Hollister. We love the town and the people here. I am the service manager for Val's Plumbing and Heating in Salinas. I hope all is well with everyone else and look forward to reading more about everybody!

All I can say is wow I had no idea there was a website until I ran into a fellow acorn at the gym. I just moved back to Morgan hill about a month ago and it's great. I've been working as a paramedic since 91 and i'ts one of the greatest jobs in the world it offers me a lot of variety and keeps me thinking. Whenever I get bored I precept a student ,I gotta admit I thought teachers had it pretty easy until I stepped up to the plate now I have much respect for any body who's made it their lifes work. I am now five months away from my nursing degree and I'm hoping to work as a traveller, not being married or having any children has its advantages every now and then. I'd love to hear from anybody it's a kick when I run into old classmates and reminisce.

Hi everyone. It's great to see so many entries of the 89 class. I still have many fond memories of the high school days. I was amazed at how many of you moved across the country. Myself, I have been in school way too long. I completed my bachelors in biology at SJSU and worked for a biotech company for a while and went back and completed my masters in nutrition. I still enjoy playing tennis and of course traveling back to germany to visit friends and family. Me and my husband work together we are planning on a family as well. can you believe it we actually live in morgan hill. By the way is this site ever going to add pictures of people? drop me a line and let's catch up on everything. Linda

Hello! Well, both my little princesses are sleeping so I have a moment to write! After graduation I headed down to UC Riverside. My junior year was spent in Barcelona, Spain, learning spanish and traveling around Europe. When I got back to Riverside I met my husband Brent--turns out he was a Hollister "Haybaler". I still tease him. We bummed around for a few years--lived in Colorado, San Jose, and Seattle. After our first child Delilah (now 2 years old) was born we decided it was time to get serious and we came back to the bay area--well, Morgan Hill actually! We have been back just over a year, and we now have 2 month old Ruby as well. I am a stay at home mom and loving it. I cherish my babies, and would not trade my time with them for anything! You would laugh....my days are spent going to playgroups with the local "Las Madres" group, going to the park, and cleaning up little messes. I have reconnected with some of my old high school pals...in fact Molly Watson's mom is going to babysit the babies for us so that Brent and I can go to the reunion this weekend. I can't wait to see everyone! I would love to hear from people, and late at night I usually have a few moments to write back. I hear little footsteps, Delilah is awake. See you soon.

When I first found out about this site I had just started working here in Iraq. Well, almost three years done and I am still working in Iraq. It is hard to find a decient job back home. I am trying to find one as three years has taken its toll on myself as well as my wife and son. COdy is 7 and looks just like me (poor kid). He is daddy's little man.

Home is now in Montana in the Bitterroot Valley. That is south of Missoula on the western side of the state. We bought our first house back in Aug and I was able to move in and try and get the huge Hunny Do list that comes with a new house complete before I had to head back here.

I am working in Mosul, Iraq for KBR. It is fairly quiet as far as getting attacked anymore. There was a time that we would get hit 15-20 times a day. The worst thing that happened was back on 21 Dec 04 when a suicide bomber blew up our dinning facility. I will never forget that day.

It is good to see that everyone is doing well and that you are not stuck somewhere like this place during the holiday seasons. I just had my third Thanksgiving here and will be here for Christmas. Take care and don't be afraid to e-mail me as I will e-mail back. sacbonds@hotmail.com.

Just a quick update. We now live in New Market, MD in a great neighborhood with wonderful families. Our second daughter, Kaity was born in Mar. 2006. Our oldest daughter Zoe was born in May 2004. I am still teaching Middle School Lang. Arts and Soc. Studies. Still coaching girls volleyball and basketball and I was appointed the Athletic Director this year. (Yikes!) I am playing more volleyball instead of softball, but who knows, that may change. I have an amazing husband, but I would have liked an easier last name to pronounce. (As if 'Bottomley' wasn't bad enough...) Please feel free to drop me a note.

Hello! I hope this new year finds everyone safe and happy. Personally, I can't seem to make up my mind as to which coast I prefer to live on. I have moved again, this time back east, & I am teaching and coaching at a wonderful school in Frederick, Maryland. Originally, I had moved back to California in 1998 after finishing college in Pennsylvania and then teaching in both Delaware and Maryland. I was even able to return to our old stomping grounds as I took a teaching position in Morgan Hill. My husband & I were married in Morgan Hill in October of 2001. We relocated to Maryland in fall 2002 and we are now learning our way around a new area. I am still playing softball when I can, (no surprise there), and I am enjoying life in general. Good luck to all and leave me a note if you get the chance. (2004) My husband & I were so happy to welcome our first child, a baby girl in 2004. Parenting...who would have thought?!

Hi, all. It's hard to believe that it has been almost twelve years. Well I married my high school sweetheart and have 3 beautiful children ages 7, 4 and 2. I am living and working in Morgan Hill. After many years of moving around I decided that this was the best place to be. I work in the marketing department of a local software company and have discovered life without commuting is bliss. I still keep in contact with Nellie (Amaral) Fitzgibbons on a daily basis. It's great to see how everyone is doing. Please feel free to contact me.

Hi! I just found this site and can't believe all the great things that happened to our class! I attended the reunion but I hardly recognized anyone. I have some good memories but mostly I blanked those years out. I'm a pediatric RN in SCal for years now. I have a really cool husband, Sandy, and two stepkids that love me (sometimes) and an Australian Sheppard named Pepper. We bought our first house in Anaheim and yes, we're Disney season pass holders. That doesn't make me a geek- just artistic. Email a greeting if you wish!

Two years ago I wrote about my new job taking my family and I to Richmond, VA. I am excited to say that things are going very well and a promotion is taking me to Austin, TX. Chloe is now 5 going on 6 and Allyson is 3. Karen and I are enjoying year 12 of marriage and we will be settling in Round Rock, TX.

I think of Sven Leff, Gil Felix, Wade Estep and Jordan Darnaugher often, Really just wondering what you all are up to. I remember how kind you all were to the new kid from New York and appreciate the times and friends.

It is always great to come back here to see how well everyone is doing.

Sean and I have been married since June 1992, we have two girls, Hailey and Ashley and still live in San Martin. I have been working in real estate for the last 8 years and am with Intero in Morgan Hill. We own a machine shop, Faultline Machining, Inc. and I have been helping Sean more over the last year since home sales have been slower. We are busy with family (my parents and now both my sisters live in town), friends (lots of former LO grads) and kids activities. The girls have been cheering with the MH Raiders for the past 5 years, and play Sprit softball too. It is hard to believe, but Hailey will be starting LO in the fall of 2008 and Ashley will start her stint at Britton. I look forward to reconnecting with our class in a year or so....20 years!Wow!

Hello everyone. I am living in American Fork, UT which is about 30 miles south of Salt Lake City. I got married in June of 93. I have 4 children (and we are done). Emily is 13, Hayley is 11, Wyatt is 7, and Abbey is 5. I work as a commercial loan officer/branch manager at a local bank and really like it. We bought a boat a couple years ago and have been loving wakeboarding and summer boating trips. My family also enjoys skiing/snowboarding but that season is ending pretty soon. I have been on a health kick for a couple years and I am currently training for a half iron man triathlon race in June. Wish me luck, I need it. Hope there is a 20 year reunion in the works, it would be fun to see everyone. Check out our blog, my wife does a great job keeping it up to date!
