I have a 14 year old son, the love of my life! He is extremely athletic, a great student and of course, extremely handsome! (Gee, do I sound like a Mom?) I worked very hard earning three college degrees, all with honors. I work as a paralegal at a major holding company for the Vice President of the Special Assets Department in Palo Alto. I also own my own business. Obviously, I am pretty busy. I will write more when I have time, but for now, please write to me, I would love to hear from you!

Where has all the time has gone? After graduation I moved around a little, had a “practice marriage” (great concept…wrong guy). Married a wonderful man named Dan. We have a (almost) three-year-old son. Settled in Mountain View, CA. Been here practicing dentistry for almost nine years. That's my life in a "nutshell".

I currently live in the Phoenix suburb of Gilbert, with my beautiful wife, Debbie (married November 1997), and our wonderful twin sons, Robby and Danny (2/24/99) and our two dogs, Kodak and Aspen. I currently work as an Account Manager for IBM Direct through a company called Direct Alliance Corporation. Deb is in her second year teaching 5th grade after teaching 2nd grade for the past few years. Sports officiating still plays a big part of my life as I currently work three sports: college baseball, HS basketball and college football. Missed the 10 year reunion but am looking forward to the 20 year! (By the way, who's planning it???) Please drop a line (I'm in the Phoenix and the East Valley books) or e-mail me. If you are ever in the Phoenix area, I will be happy to show you the sights! (Any excuse to go to a Diamondbacks or a Cardinals game!)

Hello class of "83" I must say I still feel as if I am 17. Well after high school I married Karen Downs (class of 84) and we were then divorced after three years. We still remain friends and stay in touch periodically. I stayed in construction and became a superintendent for a large construction outfit. I then married a great and beutiful woman in 1999 who I love very much,( she graduated from the class of "91" from Santa Teresa High) we have been married for 3 years now and are expecting our first child. (I CANT WAIT TO BE A DAD!!) We live in south San Jose and love our neighborhood. In the past 2 years I have started a very successful alcohol and drug treatment program located in San Jose. The business is named West Coast Recovery WWW.WCRECOVERY.COM (its a great site, and there is a picture of me there as well) We own three facilities in the bay area and are working on opening plenty more up and down the west coast. In my spare time I build web pages and do a lot of net working, I really love playing on my computers and also do a lot of buying and selling on EBAY (comic books mainly). My wife Nanci and I also have been raising and selling horses. Nanci is about to get her degree in environmental studies, (I am very proud of her) I have to say I am very grateful for the life I lead and live today, not just for myself but for the many people that I have the privilege to work with on a day to day basis. My main focus in life is to help others and remain successful. Well, I hope everyone is doing well and is as happy as I am. I will leave an update after our baby is born. Take care and go "SHARKS"

Hi! It was nice reading about everyone's interesting lives. When I was at L.O., I was very quiet and shy so maybe people don't remember me. Anyway...Well, after HS I entered the full-time ministry work of Jehovah's Witnesses while supporting myself as a legal secretary part-time, all the while still living in M.H. In July 1991, I married Benson Look (also a Jehovah's Witness) and moved to Evergreen area of San Jose. My husband grew up in Waipahu, Hawaii; moved to San Jose in '81, where he got his job at Underwriters Laboratories in Santa Clara. We have two talkative and active little boys -- Josiah, born November 5,1995 and Nathaniel, born November 21, 1997. Now I work part-time as a legal secretary for Silver & Taube, downtown San Jose. Trying to get my brother Jeff (LO '85) to write something...hi to Doug, Mishele, Ray & Paula Mays.

Hi everyone. My wife, Beth, and I have been married 15 years and we have two girls, Megan (8-26-93) and Jennifer (9-5-96). We both are teachers here in the Fresno area. Beth teaches sixth grade and I am a Math teacher at Clovis High School. I am also an assistant X-Country and Track coach. Check out our team web page listed below. I really enjoy teaching. I have Geometry and AP Statistics classes. On the home front, I sing in our church choir with Beth, play a little Bass during worship, and stay sane while balancing a busy schedule and raising the best girls a Dad could hope for. I spend about 8 Sundays a year attending Raider games. (No, I don't wear any costumes, though my students are convinced I do). Yes, that Super Bowl definitely hurt.

Hi! Steve (Class of '81) and I have been married 22 years and we live in Utah now. We have five beautiful daughters (3 still at home, 1 married, 1 in college) and one amazing little grandson. I'm a stay-at-home mom and I substitute teach now and then. I'm a lot older, and a only a little bit wiser, but life is good! I loved reading about you all. We didn't turn out half bad!

I escaped from San Jose in 1985 and now live in the Portland, OR, area with my husband, Brian. We met in 1985. I graduated from Cuesta Community College, San Luis Obispo, CA, in 1990 (A.A. Special Ed. Aide), and from Humboldt State University, Eureka, CA, in 1993 (B.A. English - Secondary Credential Emphasis). Brian, my husband, also graduated from Humboldt State University (B.A. Speech Communication). Brian and I finally got married in 1991. Our first child, Joseph, was born July 17, 2002. Our second child, Ciara, was born January 25, 2005. We have two Nubian dairy goats. When Joe was born I quit my "real" job and have concentrated on my website store so I can work from home and be with the children. It's a website educational supply store. It's called BK's Schoolhouse and it's at http://www.bksschoolhouse.com. Well that's my life story in a nutshell, I guess ... I'd love to hear from former classmates and also former teachers. I wish more teachers would list themselves on the teacher section of this site!

LOpage Hey all! Anyone who remembers me will be glad to know I no longer hang out in the smoking area or wear rock shirts, flannel, and combat boots. Well OK, I still wear combat boot. After wasting my time in high school, I figured I was not cut out for college, so I joined the Coast Guard. I put in 6.5 years with the Guard and spent most of that time flying around in a C-130 aircraft as a navigator looking for drug smugglers. Is there a little sense of irony here? (Laugh!) After that I joined up with United Airlines were I work as an aircraft mechanic at SJC. I’m married to a wonderful woman named Grace who is at the moment pregnant with ourfirst child due this Nov 1998 (Update.. John William was born 11-18-98). We are living in Hollister. Hope all is well with the class of ’83!

After graduating LO, I attended UC Davis and earned a bachelor's degree in Biological Science in 1987. I then moved to New Orleans, LA with my husband, Jon Van Valkenburg (class of '83) who attended Tulane Medical School. I worked in human genetics at Tulane while Jon worked on studying and dissecting cadavers. Jon joined the US Army to pay for medical school, and we've been traveling ever since. While Jon did his residency in Family Practice at Madigan Army Medical Center in Tacoma, WA, I attended The Evergreen State College in Olympia, WA, earning a master's degree in Public Administration in 1995. We had our first child, Emily, in '95, then moved out to Clarksville, TN (near Nashville), where Jon was Chief of Family Practice at Blanchfield Army Community Hospital. Our son, Nicholas, was born in 1998, and Jon completed his military career in June of 1999. We then moved to southern Oregon, where Jon is now a partner in his own primary care practice. I'm now a busy stay at home "soccer mom"...Jon thinks this is very funny....and I stay involved in local community organizations. We are finally settled and very happy here. We even have extended family here now, with both Jon's family and my parents living nearby. But, we'll always come back to visit our great L.O. friends, especially Roxanne, Kim, Gina, Mark, and Barry.
Jon and I had a great time seeing familiar faces and catching up with all those who attended the 20 year reunion. Thanks to all those classmates who made the effort to attend. Everyone was warm and friendly, and you all looked fantastic!

1983 I have moved a long way from home, approximately 2 miles from the home I started growing up in. Life is still great in Morgan Hill. My wife Daniele (Rich) and I have two children Jakob (6) and Emily (4). I have a long commute to work (2 miles). I remember those glorious days on the baseball diamond. I am planning on playing in the Live Oak Alumni baseball game this year. After Saint Louise Hospital in Morgan Hill closed I went into a private practice office. Fritter, Schulz and Conlan Physical and Occupational Therapy.

Hey...It was great to come across this alumni link! I went to college in the midwest after LO, traveled through Europe a little, met my husband Lyle, and now have 3 wonderful daughter's. Megan 17, Katie 15 and Hannah 12. Lyle is a coach (b-ball, softball, cross-country) and Science teacher; I have a good group of 3rd. grade student's in Oak Creek, WI (southern suburb of Milwaukee). We just moved from the Bay Area...back to the midwest. Had the opportunity to buy a home in San Jose...took it...sold it, and bought a nice home in the midwest. Now as our oldest looks at Cal Poly we are trying to avoid out of state tuition. Megan and Katie are big into volleyball, club teams as well; Hannah loves cross country and swim. The girls all have a heart for CA...something I tried to instill, and all three plan on moving back for the beach, jamba juice, warmer weather and palm trees. I taught first grade in Morgan Hill while we were in CA as well as fitness classes. So, Brian Kost...while you REALLY were biking, I was doing the VIRTUAL spin version of cycling indoors. Had fun training a bunch of guys for the Iron Man during their off season. I'm working on my Master's at present, and in the cold of winter here, planning our next trip to sunny to CA this Easter.
I would love to hear from you!

Though not too active while in high school, I've seemed to finally shift gears since... I stayed around Morgan Hill for 18 months after graduation. I quietly joined the Army and stayed for 5 years. Lived in Wash, DC in the White House Communications Agency for the Bush administration for two years. Was a field service engineer for another two years, travelling to over 40 countries. Of those, I decided that Brazil was to be my next home. I live near Rio de Janeiro and am a Director of Technology for an Int'l Telecommunications company. Weekends are on the beach watching sunsets... Visitors are welcome year-around!! Paz a todos!!

Hi everyone. This is Roberts daughter. I am 20 now. There was a terrible loss on Saturday June 30th, 2001. My dad was killed in a motorcycle accident. He was racing down south. All of you that knew him also knew that racing was what he loved to do. We all love him so much and he will be remembered forever. Feel free to email me if you would like.
Searching through the site I couldn't help but notice the many people living in the Central Valley. After having left L.O. my senior year to attended Harbor High school in Santa Cruz, I lost touch with many people. I ended up going to College of The Sequoias to play water polo and swim. Worked at a ski resort, then settled in Fresno where I opened a baseball card/sporting equipment store, which I owned for seven years;graduated from Fresno State. Now that I am "stuck" in Fresno I am a sixth grade teacher for Fresno Unified which I totally love! I have been officiating high school/college water polo for the past ten years which has given me the chance to run into some old friends. Last year while in San Jose I ran into fellow teammate, and referee, Bill Doherty while working Junior Olympics. And let me tell you he is not a very good referee. Hahahaha. Just kidding! It was great to see him and hear some updates on some of the other guy's who played polo for L.O. So if you're ever at a water polo game and the ref looks kinda' familiar, yell out "Hey Skippy" and see if it's me.

This is a great idea! Wow, how time flys. Thank you Stacey, my sister who graduated in 1988 for telling me about this site. I'm so busy moving forward with my life, that I haven't been good about staying in touch with the past. My life gives new meaning to the phrase "24/7." I am married for past 12 years to a Gilroy police officer. He is a great guy. Must be a saint to put up with me that long! He's very busy keeping streets of Gilroy safe. Spends his time on Gang suppression and SWAT. Very dedicated and hard working cop! I have a wonderful son, Cody, who is 9 years old. Greatest thing that ever happened to my husband and I. We would have had more, but can't even keep up with one. Cody keeps us running! We live in Hollister out in the country. I can't do that city stuff! Spend our time dirtbiking and riding our horses. I went on to UCSD and then graduated from San Jose State with B.S. in Business Finance. Went on to become a Paramedic, volunteer firefighter and did search and rescue in San Mateo. Probably the most rewarding aspect of my life! I have been selling real estate in South County for last 6 years while getting my RN and soon to be Nurse Practitioner. It is great to see that everyone is so happy and doing well in life! Life is precious; live long, live well and for God's sake, have some fun!

Hi everyone, it's great to see how well everyone is doing!
I'm currently living in the East Bay (Brentwood to be exact) and I'm a Deputy Sheriff for Contra Costa County; assigned to the City of San Ramon Police Department for the next 4 years. I still referee a lot of water polo (college primarily) and I enjoy it immensely. I never thought getting yelled at by coaches and fans would be welcome stress relief from my job but such is life!!
The saying "good things happen to those who wait" is definitely true in my case as I married my wonderful wife, Dena, in 2003 and I couldn't be happier! I would love to hear from old friends......Drop me a line and say hi!

It’s great to see familiar names and to see everyone is doing well. I’ll see if I can keep this brief. After I graduated from High School I joined the army for a couple of years, spending the majority of my time in Germany. Returning home I headed south and attended college in San Diego, finishing up at good ol’ San Jose State. I married a woman from San Diego, so I headed south again. I have two boys, Connor and Evan (4 and 2). I worked for U.S. Customs for awhile but found the number hours and shift work to be difficult on family life, so three years ago I made a career change to the IT world. It’s a bit of a transition, but I am enjoying the time I now have with my two boys. Unfortunately, the marriage didn’t last, but as a result I now have a great girlfriend and enjoy life as much as I can. Drop me an email to say hi. Take care!

Time for an update, I guess.
Alan Reynolds (also class of 83) and I will celebrate our 20th anniversary in August. We have 2 beautiful daughters, Mary, who is 17 and Katy, who is 13.
I am currently attending the University of Tennessee School of Veterinary Medicine in Knoxville. I'm considering getting my MPH along with the DVM, but have to figure out how to finance all of this.
We live northwest of Knoxville, Tennessee and anyone coming to Tennessee should feel free to look us up. We are very hospitable folks!

Hello Class of '83! My, where have these past 16 years gone? After graduation, I spent a hapless 2 years goofing off at Gavilan, then decided that I needed a sense of direction a change of scenery. I joined the Army in April of '86, where I have been ever since. I have spent 2 years in Germany (1986-1988), 1 year in upstate New York (1989), and 3 1/2 years in Corpus Christi, TX recruiting (1994-1997). In between (1990-1994) I have been stationed in El Paso, TX where I worked as a chief with the PATRIOT Missile Air Defense System. I still am stationed at El Paso where I am now a Maintenance Platoon Sergeant (I'm in charge of 25 soldiers - scary thought, ain't it?). Right now, my unit is currently on deployment in Southwest Asia, where I am temporarily residing (Kuwait). Damn, it's hot here (averages 115 degrees fahrenheit). I am single (I haven't been really looking as of late) and occassionally still play piano. I hope to hear from some of y'all. My e-mail address is joefedalizo@yahoo.com, so don't be afraid to type. Take care for now.

WOW! Has it been 20 years already? After high school I attended Gavilan College to find out what I wanted to do when I grew up. After 2 years, I did some traveling around Washington D.C. and Europe. After that I finally received my A.A. At Gavilan College. I worked in Milpitas, CA for almost 10 years at a couple of trucking companies as a payroll account clerk. Hated It!!!! In 1991 I married Bill Gunter (Class of 81). We have two wonderful daughters Sarah 10 and Shannon 8 1/2. They both attend El Toro Elementary here in Morgan Hill, which by the way I now work as the dreaded lunch lady. I am actually very happy there. I get to spend more time with the girls than I did before. Our family likes to spend our free time camping and hiking. This year I have signed on to be a girl scout co-leader for my girls girl scout troop. That should keep me pretty busy. I'd love to here from you.

Hello Alumni! I guess it is time to update this entry. Well, we are still living in Morgan Hill, The Twins Tony & Scott are going to Sobrato. We went to back to school night and checked out the classes that Tony & Scott are taking this year. My wife and I literally ran to the classes as the bells for switching rang every 10 minutes, by the time you sign in and settle down the teacher speaks for maybe 5 minutes, before you need to move on! I did happen to see some familiar faces from Live Oak, like, (of course Tony Wilder), John Letherman, Rene (Castro), & Ms. Villegas, who now teaches P.E. & Dance etc. at Sobrato. All in all it was pretty fun. As far as the rest of my family, my wife and I are doing fine. Michael is going to Charter School (3rd grade)and is also in winterball for Pony Baseball. We had a great spring season as we won the city championship for the Pinto league!
We are now in Mustang, should be interesting! Check out my page on My Space! Email me if you would like to keep in touch.

Hi Everyone! It’s been a few years, huh? I’m doing great. I have a great job. I sell memory components to Cisco Systems and work for a manufacture’s representative firm. I was married twice. My first husband was Allen Keen (Janice Keen’s brother). I’m very sorry to have to tell you Janice was killed in a car accident in 85, her sister Jennifer was also in the car and died three days after the accident. It’s been rough for the entire family. Allen and I have two children Justin and Eric. Justin (16 )goes to Liveoak (can you believe that?). Eric (13) goes to Jackson. I was remarried two years ago to Eric. He and I have one son, his name is Brandon (20months). Please feel free to send me an e-mail anytime!

Hello 1983 Alums: It was great to see most of you at the 20 year reunion. Big events in my life....I married on December 11, 2004 to my long-time (4 yrs) and long-distance (Austin, TX) girlfriend Sun Hwang. We moved in 2005 from my South San Jose home to a home in Morgan Hill. I am currently working at Becton-Dickinson (also known as BD) as a Strategic Sourcing Director. Who is BD? If you get stuck at the doctors office with a needle, it's probably ours. We make 70% of the syringes in the world. The division I work in SJ manufactures HIV AIDs and Cancer diagnostic & monitoring equipment. Sun also works in the Marketing department as a analyst, so the commute from MH to SJ is not too bad for us with the commuter lane. I still stay in close touch with Barry Ikemoto & Jon Van Valkenburg/Edie Chezik. We began (in 2003), an Annual 49er game, and Backpacking trip. With all of our busy schedules it is tough to nail down two weekends a year for these events, but we try our best. You can bet that during one of our get togethers a fond L.O memory ( legal one) is always talked about. I am celebrating, if you want to call it that, my 10th year of being a Type I Diabetic. So far, so Good! See you all in 2008 for our 25th.
